About CYS Teacher Training Programme
The CYS teacher training course is a 200-hours course accredited by the Yoga Alliance Professionals. This accreditation demonstrates excellent standards as set by Yoga Alliance Professionals.
At CYS we really believe in the magical power of creativity where emphasis is placed on mindfulness, alignment, anatomy and yoga philosophy. Our logo represents our vision fully.
The orange Mandala represents the second chakra, Svadhishthana, the centre of creativity on all levels, it stimulates physical energy, creativity and compassion. The gift of this chakra is to experience life through feelings, sensation and passion. Passion is the fuels of creative energy, everything we create, even the yoga classes that our students learn to create during the teacher training, originate from the energy of the second chakra.
Once creativity and compassion are stimulated, a connection with the heart chakra (green colour) is found and that will teach to move trough life with acceptance, empathy, self-love, kindness and respect.
At CYS we believe in approaching the practice with curiosity not knowing which sequence will await the body, mind, and spirit. Allow for deeper discovery and self-expansion. Changing the minds, opening the hearts, and making space for change can often lead to greater self-awareness in the practice and in our lives.
